colorado

we had a great trip to colorado this weekend. we spent a lot of time with uncle jared & aunt elizabeth in fort collins and spent all day saturday with sara a. in boulder. garrett did well on his first plane ride, sleeping for much of the trip. we had fun checking out fort collins, toured a brewery, had pizza night, went for a short hike, checked out the boulder farmers market, and cooked out at sara's place last night. the weather was beautiful and we all came home with sunburned noses. wish we could have stayed longer. enjoy the pics!

we are off on our first big trip with garrett - not only are we leaving michigan and staying more than two nights - but we are flying! yup, that's right, we are off to colorado for a long weekend to visit jared, elizabeth, & sara a. in a few short hours. all of us are very excited about the trip and about visiting family and friends.
last weekend we went to essexville to stay with grama and grampa for the night and go to cousin kristen's baby shower. garrett got into all sorts of trouble hanging out with grampa for a while during the shower. we had a nice visit with great grama on the way home. here's a recent pic from bath time.....
