garrett's first christmas

Well we are officially through Garrett's first Christmas and what a whirlwind tour it was. We saw lots of family and traveled many miles throughout Michigan to celebrate the holiday. Garrett is definitely growing and changing everyday. He is getting to be quite the smiley boy, making all kinds of funny noises, improving his head/neck strength, and still stealing hearts of friends and family. Here are some of the highlights:

6 weeks old (yesterday)

It's hard to believe that Garrett is already six weeks old. Here is a shot of him in his new onsie and one of him smiling, which he is doing more and more of lately!

weekend update

garrett had another enjoyable weekend with family. we went to visit oma, opa, & uncle chad and also grampa jay and grama leisa came for a sleep over. everyone is amazed at how much he has been growing in the last week or so.

garrett gain-a-thon

Garrett had a doctors appointment yesterday and he gained a whopping 14.5 ounces in two weeks! For a short while he was slow to gain weight, but he is definitely back on track now. This made his mothers (and his nurse) very very happy, so now he is up to 8lbs 15oz.

Today Garrett Richard is one month old - we can hardly believe it! On his one month birthday today we went to our infant massage class and spent some time at Oma and Opa's house visiting and having a delicious dinner. look at me i'm one month old!
