any way you look at it, it's hard to believe that garrett has been in our lives that long, and on the other hand it also seems like he's been a part of our family forever. we surely can't remember what our lives were like without him. we look forward to the next year and years beyond that experiencing life with him, learning from him, creating wonderful new memories, and loving him. being parents has been the most amazing journey that either one of us could have ever imagined, ever, ever, ever. it's so wild that just saying, thinking, or typing his name can bring a smile to our faces and a reminder of deep love in our hearts.
we celebrated garrett's day today with many friends and family. once i get the pictures organized, i will post more.

I remember one year ago when i was racing to post a comment here each day!! It was great to see you all this weekend and to spend garrett's first bday with him!! he sure is a wonderful and happy little boy!
